Chief Justice Rehnquist Passed

News is just now breaking, Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist of the Supreme Court, has just recently passed away. This couldn't come at a worst time as our nation's attention is already focused on one tragedy and will drain both congresses and the president's attention as they prepare to appoint a new justice when they are also attempting to handle the situation in Louisiana and Mississippi.

... wow. Do you really mean that?

Justice Rehnquist was one of the conservative members of the Supreme Court. He was active in the Republican Party, was appointed by Reagan, and advocated for states rights. Do you even know the names of the members of the Supreme Court? If not, try going here:

and learning about them before you say things like that. As if a man's death were a good thing? You really made yourself look uninformed, insensitive, and downright foolish.

Sorry I had to break it to you like that.

Correction: I meant to say appointed by Nixon and then promoted to chief justice by Reagan.

What a jackass. Rehnquist was for the most part a fairly bipartisan Justice. He, like O'connor helped hold the center.

Also, the death of a man is never something that should be laughed at or taken lightly. What are you doing with your life that is so special zipporah32?

sorr, that makes me mad.
